Children's Ministry

Mission Statement: Jump! is the Children's Ministry at Community UMC. We are dedicated to partnering with families in reaching kids and helping them become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Jump! Sunday School

9:45-10:45am
Bible stories and spiritual principles are learned through age-appropriate curriculum, hands-on activities and music.

Grades K-1 (room 21)
Grades 2-3 (room 22)
Grades 4-5 (room 23)

Jump! Children’s Church

Children in grades K-3 are escorted from the sanctuary to room 26 after hearing the children’s sermon during the 11:00 service.
Children’s Church combines large-group praise, worship and teaching time with small-group discussion and relationship-building.

Club GAP

Club Gap is a special fellowship meeting for our ‘tweens in grades 4 and 5.  This group meets on selected Sunday afternoons from 5 until 7:30 during the school year, with a light dinner served at 7:00 ($2).

Club GAP exists to build and strengthen our relationships with God while building and strengthening our relationships with one another.

Nursery

The nursery is open to infants from birth through 5 years, whose families attend worship at 8:30 or 11:00 and/or Sunday School at 9:45.
Our nursery exists to give babies and toddlers the opportunity to grow in a loving, nurturing environment that introduces them to our awesome God; beginning with:

Young Children's Sunday School

For children ages 2-5 who are in the nursery during the Sunday School hour. Young children discover that Jesus loves them while exploring stories from the Bible. 9:45 - 10:45am, followed by:

Young Children’s Praise & Worship

For children ages 2-5 who are in the nursery during the 11:00 worship service. Young children experience fast-paced praise time and age-appropriate teaching.
