Welcome to the CUMC music page!
Each week we come together to celebrate God's eternal love extended to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. We sing and play our instruments to God, praising Him for changing our lives with His saving grace. Our goal as a team of committed worship leaders is to KNOW Christ and make Him KNOWN through our worship and service. We humbly accept the role of leading others into His Holy Presence where we may connect with Him and be changed by Him.
Our vision is to enable the active participation of the congregation at CUMC by inspiring those assembled to worship. We recognize that music was not designed for the glory of humanity, but for the reflective beauty of the glory of God. We desire to be mirrors of God’s glory - using our voices, hearts, and instruments to lead people closer to God.
We strive to reach out to our community through musicals and special productions and we pray for lost souls to see Jesus reflected on our countenance and through our witness.
We acknowledge our complete dependence on God and understand that unity, dedication and service, guided by prayer, is the only way to accomplish these goals. We are a musical family – upholding each other in good times and trying times while always seeking to uplift and encourage each other so that all we do and say will glorify God.
YOU are welcome to be a part of the family! Click here to connect with us on Facebook.
Come and experience God’s passionate love for you this Sunday morning at 10:30am!

We are ordinary people with varying degrees of talent and training. We represent a wide range of ages, stages, experiences, and preferences. God's love for us – expressed through His gift of music – is a tie that binds us together. When you come to choir, you don’t just bring your voice. Your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experience make our choir a unique body. The level of musical training may vary widely, but the passion and desire is the same for all. Our goal is to know God and to make Him known!
This is a group of dedicated singers who serve each week. The Voices of Victory provide a unique opportunity for those wanting to serve the Lord in music and experience the fellowship of a wonderful loving family of believers.
Come join us!!!
Praise Team (Vocals)
Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 8:30 PM
This small ensemble of singers from the ranks of the Voices of Victory Choir use their talents as a vehicle for bringing people into God's presence in worship through inspiring, dynamic music - embracing our tremendous heritage of great hymns and incorporating the contemporary music of today. Involvement is on a weekly rotation.
Rehearsals: Sundays at 9:40 AM
Do your spirits rise as you play your instrument to the Lord? Does the sound of a flute or sax or trumpet stir something in you beyond your own wants and needs? Then you’ll love the worship experience provided by our band! This group of instrumentalists uses their talents and blesses the congregation of CUMC each Sunday morning – playing numbers that are “band features” and regularly assisting in worship leadership.
Members of this group come from many walks of life – teachers, students, retirees, dental techs, band directors, TV producers, physical therapists, etc. We gather each Sunday morning to share and lead in worship. Experienced players sit next to younger players and help foster the development of God-given talents. A certain degree of proficiency is needed to be a part of this group. Contact Charles (407-831-3777) for more information.
Psalm 150:3-6: “Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals! Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
Rehearsals: Thursdays at 1:30 PM
Location: Choir Room
